Third-party ad tag modification instructions

While creating campaigns on the LiveIntent Platform, you may use third-party ad tags and brand safety tags. The content below provides modification instructions, respective to the ad server you’re using. For a list of supported Third-Party tags, please refer to this article.

  • Google Campaign Manager 360 (CM360)
  • Sizmek
  • Mediaplex/Conversant
  • CAKE
  • Flashtalking
  • Adform
  • DoubleVerify 
  • Integral Ad Science (IAS)

Javascript is not supported in the email environment (HTML), therefore, all supported ad servers are using NOSCRIPT tags. If you have tags that are not listed below, please let us know in order to test. 

 

Please note: Third-party ad tags have to be formatted according to the instructions in order to be compatible with the Liveintent Platform.

 

Ad Specifications 

All LiveIntent served ads must be in one of the following formats:
  • .jpg
  • .png
  • .gif or animated .gif
Recommended ad sizes:
  • 300x250
  • 970x250
  • 970x550
  • 728x90
  • 300x600
As a best practice, LiveIntent prefers to host the image and implement third-party tracking tags within our user interface. For each placement, LiveIntent will need: 
  • The image file
  • A click tracker
  • A 1x1 impression pixel
If you prefer to host the image:
  • LiveIntent will use the standard tags

 

Please Note: All third party hosted tags can result in a high impression or click discrepancy. As a result, it's recommended that LiveIntent host the image and implement third-party tracking tags within our UI.

  • DECISION_ID is case sensitive
  • The click URL is actually a click tag and does not require additional modifications.
  • Make sure to keep question mark located after the DecisionId modification within the tag. Removing the question mark will result in reporting discrepancies.
