AppsFlyer In-App Implementation Instructions

This guide walks you through how to configure LiveIntent in your AppsFlyer account for in-app tracking. Once you configure your events, you will need to get any relevant conversion pixels from your LiveIntent account team. They can also set up audiences for you. Then, once you’ve implemented your pixels and LiveIntent has set up your audience segmentation, your account team will set up your campaign in our platform. Once these steps are completed, you can go live.

Step 1: Set Up Your LiveIntent Partner Configuration In Appsflyer

  1. Login to your Appsflyer account
  2. Navigate to the Integrated Partners list by clicking the first link under the Configurations bar on the left-hand navigation menu.
  3. Search and Select LiveIntent as a partner

Step 2: Configure Ad Network Permissions Tab

  1. Set Ad Network Partner toggle to ON
  2. Grant Permissions to Ad Network Team Members- Before you can grant permissions to ad networks, you need to give its members access to manage your app. The ad network admin has access by default.
    1. Click Add team member
    2. Enter the email of the ad network team member
    3. Click Add
    4. Repeat the process to add more team members if you need to
    5. Once you give access to ad network team members, decide what permissions you want to grant them.
  3. Toggle ON the following additional permissions
    1. Allow to configure integration: permit the partner to setup the integration tab (except in-app event postbacks)
    2. Allow to configure in-app event postbacks: permit the partner to setup in-app event postbacks mapping to itself on the integration tab
    3. Allow access to your retention report: only to the partner's own retention data
    4. Allow access to your Protect360 dashboard: only to the partner's own Protect360 data, and providing the feature is enabled for the advertiser
    5. Update Events Sharing Permissions to ‘Events attributed to any partner or organic
