ESP Event Configuration Instructions: Listrak

These instructions will help email senders configure their ESPs to share data with LiveIntent. Configuring event data sharing with LiveIntent improves the accuracy and scale of several Monetization, Intelligence, and Addressability products. Different configuration options are available depending on the ESP you use. If you have any questions about how ESP event configurations help your specific use cases, please contact your account team.

Advanced ESP Integration

Getting started: account permissions

To complete the setup for Listrak, you will need:

  • A login to Listrak with Admin privileges or permission to create a Listrak “Integration.”
  • A URL provided by your account manager to securely register API access with LiveIntent. It will look something like:

https://espresso-auth.liveintent.net/listrak/register?state=li.listrack.com&expires=2024-05-09T01:38:43Z&hmac=7b15d079afe7f06fdcd8434b00b8d8e7, with the parameters for the state, expires, and hmac personalized for your account.

Full instructions: enable API data exchange

1. Login to listrak.com and click on the menu > Integrations > Integrations Management.

2. From the Integration screen, click on New Integration in the upper right corner.

3. Click on Integrate in the Email API option.

4. On the Email Integration page, click on Setup.

5. On the Setup page, select the following Access Levels:

  • List
  • Contact
  • Segmentation
  • Message
  • Event
  • Report

6. On the right side of the page, register LiveIntent outgoing IPs in the IP Address White List (you may have to deselect the Disable IP Address Whitelist checkbox first).

7. Add the following single IP addresses to the whitelist:

54.209.33.122
18.210.109.54
3.227.162.208
18.210.67.124
3.82.67.161

8. Click Save to create a new API client ID/secret combination.

9. Upon saving, you will be redirected to the Email Integration screen. Click Save to reopen the settings.

10. The Integration Settings screen will reopen to the values you saved previously. At the bottom of the page, you will see two values for Client ID and client Secret. Copy these values and save them in your password manager. If you cannot see the Client Secret, click the Reset Client Secret button to generate a new one.

11. In a new browser window, enter the URL provided by your account manager.

12. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret.

13. A success screen should appear, indicating you’ve completed the integration setup.

14. Please notify your LiveIntent Account Manager to confirm that the API integration was properly set up.
